Our mission is to instill confidence in woman through products that exude elegance and royalty. Whether that is in the home or out in the town, we want you to feel remarkable. We offer customization on our products to allow you to get an item that is FIT FOR YOU.
Our products are influenced by the techniques of West African tailors and stylists. Our premiere product, the "Wrapped Crown" is an avant garde take on the coveted African headwrap. Refashioned in a durable and flexible fabrication, each crown is hand-draped and stitched with attention to detail.
mEET FATIMA
Fatima Camara Souare spent her childhood and young adult years immersed in fine art. Growing up with immigrant parents from Guinea she learned early on the importance of hard work and self-expression. She enjoyed watching her mom get dressed up in vibrant bazins. Her fascination with African styling traditions inspired her to create one of a kind products like handpainted afro picks, braided shorts and leather headwraps.
She learned the foundation of the fashion industry while interning for American designer Tracy Reese. Throughout the years she has worked as a designer, illustrator and tailor creating custom and tailored looks for clients at Nordstrom, Macy's, Harper Collins and Complex.
Fatima holds a BFA in apparel design from Rhode Island School of Design. She resides in NJ with her husband and baby boy.
